Custody calendar in two colours
Week on, week off; 2-2-3; every other week; or your own rotation. One glance and you know who has the children. Swaps go through a request the other parent accepts, refuses or answers with another date.
Costs with proof, split by your key
Photograph the school letter or the receipt; amount and date are read on your device. Each category carries its own split — school 50/50, medical 60/40 — and the cost inherits it.
Proposal, answer, clock
An extraordinary cost becomes a proposal with a clear end date. The other parent agrees, counters or disagrees. If it stays quiet, the card says when silence counts as consent.
A balance that is right, after the health fund
Gross, refund and net are stored separately. The running balance uses the net amount, so nobody counts a mutualiteit refund twice.
Messages that stay
Messages by topic, stamped with the moment they were first read. Nothing can be deleted afterwards. A tone filter and a rewrite assistant help keep it factual.
Quarterly settlement and export
A dated PDF with every cost, decision and proof of the quarter, plus a checksum per attachment. To share with a mediator or lawyer, or simply to keep.

Set the arrangement
Pick a custody pattern, the split per category and the children. Duoweek fills in the calendar for the months ahead.
Invite the other parent
One invitation, no separate accounts per child. Both parents get the same rights and see the same file — the app is symmetric.
Record costs and agreements
Photo of the proof, one tap, done. For extraordinary costs the cost becomes a proposal with an end date. Calendar changes go through a request.
Settle and export
Every quarter a settlement with the open balance, a payment request with QR code and a dated overview a third party can check.
Built for the Belgian rules
In Belgium, the Royal Decree of 2019 defines which costs are extraordinary and how prior consent works. Duoweek has that list and those deadlines built in, as a separate layer you switch on or off. Without it, the app works as a neutral family file, in Belgium or elsewhere.

When it reads a school letter or an invoice, the app suggests a category from the official list. You confirm or adjust — nothing enters the file that a parent has not approved themselves.
21 days, 30 during school holidays
A proposal for an extraordinary cost automatically gets the legal deadline for a reply. If the deadline falls in an official school holiday, the app counts 30 days instead of 21.
Reviewable, not "legal evidence"
Everything is dated, versioned and checkable. Duoweek never promises that anything will be accepted as evidence — a judge or mediator decides that. We make sure the file is accurate and complete.
Your data stays in Europe, and yours
Duoweek processes data about children and about a conflict. That calls for restraint, not cleverness.
Stored in the EU (Frankfurt)
The shared file, photos of proofs and messages are stored encrypted on servers in Frankfurt with a European processor. No US storage.
Text recognition on your device
Amounts and dates are read from a photo by your own phone. The photo is not sent to an external reading service.
No ads, no resale
Duoweek shows no advertising and sells no data. Analytics settings are off until you turn them on yourself.
Symmetric, by definition
No parent can remove the other, delete messages or close the file alone. What one parent sees about the other, the other sees about themselves.

Duoweek is in closed beta. We would rather say precisely what exists than what is coming.

Free during the beta
During the beta you pay nothing. Prices for the final version will be announced in advance; reading your own file and balance always stays possible, even without a subscription.
Belgian legal layer
The Royal Decree categories and deadlines are in. An external legal review of the wording takes place before public launch.
